MAHTN offers a variety of opportunities to learn, connect, and grow within the horticultural therapy community. We host informative webinars, facilitate virtual Community of Practice meetings, provide exclusive member-only demonstrations, organize an enriching Annual Conference, and arrange site visits to inspiring horticultural therapy/therapeutic horticulture programs. These events are designed to support education, collaboration, and professional development throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

    “Lifting the Veil: A Conversation About Grief"

  • Greens Do Good Program & Farm Tour: April 26, 2025, Hackensack, NJ 07601
A tour of Greens Do Good with MAHTN member and Workforce Development Coordinator Stefan Livermore. We explored the world of hydroponic farming and its HT/TH applications.

GDG is an indoor hydroponic farm providing work-based learning to young adults on the autism spectrum. Their mission is to transform how communities source healthy produce while promoting neurodiversity in the workplace by providing meaningful job training and employment for teens and adults with autism.
