The annual meeting will occur for the first 30 minutes, followed by the Virtual Garden presentation.

Join us for the MAHTN annual meeting and a virtual tour of the Kingsbridge Heights Community Center garden on September 18 at 10:00 AM (edt). The MAHTN annual meeting will take place from 10:00-10:30 and the virtual garden tour will occur 10:30-11:00.

The KIngsbridge Heights Community Center (KHCC) serves everyone in the neighborhood, and so does the garden! All program participants--from preschoolers, youth with special needs, teen interns to therapy clients--actively take part in learning and growing in this green space in the northwest Bronx. Therapeutic horticulture, gardening and nutrition education enhance KHCC's programs, which aim to empower and provide valuable transferable skills for the future. We will take a tour through the community garden, main teaching garden, honeybee hives and some special plant related projects as you learn how HT& Garden Program Coordinator Gerry Sherman makes horticulture accessible to everyone.
